Designed and developed for RMC Project Management, this video-based online exam strategy session has Rita Mulcahy breaking down in detail 15 extremely difficult PMP® exam sample questions.  The course is registered with the Project Management Institute (PMI) for 2 Contact Hours. It was created with encrypted streaming video, HTML, Flash, Java, JavaScript, PowerPoint, Photoshop, and Lectora..

Designed and developed for Best Buy to train store employees on the features, benefits, and technologies of flat panel TVs.  The AICC-compliant course provides Best Buy sales associates with the answers and explanations to common customer questions that will aid the sales associate in helping the customer select the TV that best meets their needs.  It includes a final exam that is recorded by the Saba LMS.  It was created with FrontPage, Flash, JavaScript, Photoshop, and Saba Publisher.

Designed and developed for Neumann Homes, Inc. to train employees and partners in the purpose and application of the agreements associated with their home building business. The SCORM-compliant course provides the knowledge and application of these agreements via interactive and narrated lessons. Features include student data collection, bookmarking, pre-course assessment, audio narration, EPSS, post assessment, manager's on-the-job evaluations, and graduation certificate. It was created with Dreamweaver with Course Builder, Java, JavaScript, RealProducer (audio), and Photoshop.

Designed and developed for Fond du Lac College to provide students with a background on the types of crime being committed with the use of computer and Internet technology and the efforts required to combat this trend. Features include student data collection, streaming video, interactive quizzes, bookmarking, online chat, discussion groups, instructor e-mail, personalized notebook, and document libraries. It was created with Dreamweaver with Course Builder, Java, JavaScript, RealProducer (video), and Photoshop. 

Simulated Procedures

Designed and developed to train service contractors on the process and procedures associated with First Service Networks' FUSION Technology facilities maintenance service call management system.  The 15-lesson course teaches the tasks required of the service contractor which include wireless web phone and computer operations.  The course includes an animated overview of the process, step-by-step demonstrations, interactive exercises on software and cell phone simulators, "show me" screen action movies and end-of-lesson quizzes.  It was created with HTML, JavaScript, Photoshop, GIF Animator, and Camtasia.  The course is offered through First Service Networks' Online Learning Center.

End-User Application Software Primer

Designed and developed for Sterling Software to educate customers on the new business intelligence portal, EUREKA:Portal.  This 20-minute web-based tutorial was built with HTML, JavaScript, Photoshop, GIF Animator and Lotus ScreenCam and requires the use of the Lotus StreamCam browser plug-in.  The tutorial is offered through the learning portal Sterling University.

New-Hire Orientation / Sales Presentation

Designed and developed for Information Advantage to educate new employees on the company's products and technologies.   Presented by the company's CEO, the 35 minute presentation uses streaming video clips and accompanying graphics, indexed by topic.  The program was constructed with HTML, Photoshop and RealProducer Pro and requires the use of the RealPlayer Basic 7 streaming video browser plug-in.  The tutorial is offered through Sterling Software's intranet-based employee learning portal - INet.

End-User Software Training

One of over 300 lessons designed and developed for Supervalu to train hundreds of employees for Phase 1 implementation of their new supply chain enterprise suite from Armature.  Features include mouse-over glossary, interactive screen simulations, and multiple-choice quizzes.   Delivered via Supervalu's EA Online Learning Center, the lessons were developed by a team of 8 instructional designers, then constructed by me with HTML, JavaScript and Photoshop.  No players or plug-ins are required.

Industry Standards Education

Designed and developed for BICSI (a telecommunications association) to educate member companies on the ANSI/TIA/EIA 570-A Residential Cabling Standard.  This 7-lesson web-based course was constructed with HTML, JavaScript, Photoshop and GIF Animator. No players or plug-ins are required.  The course is offered through BICSI's Virtual Campus.

Technology Education

Designed and developed for Applied Learning Systems (MasteryPOINT), a leading provider of technology education for the telecommunications industry.  The "Basic Telecommunications" CBT features animations, interactive quizzes, glossary and certification exam.  It was built with Authorware and Photoshop and is distributed on CD-ROM for both Windows and Mac users.

Technology Education

Designed and developed for Applied Learning Systems (MasteryPOINT), a leading provider of technology education for the telecommunications industry.  The "CTI Essentials" CBT features animations, interactive quizzes, glossary and certification exam.  It was built with Authorware and Photoshop and is distributed on CD-ROM for both Windows and Mac users.

End-User Software Training            

Designed and developed for Net Perceptions to train customers on their web personalization software product, The Personalization Network.  The web-based tutorial and software simulator is linked to, and invoked from, the application software.  It was built with HTML, JavaScript and Photoshop.

Employee Business Process Education

Designed and developed for SmithKline Beecham to train employees on the  pharmaceutical industry methodologies and practices for bringing a new product to market.  The 6-unit, 45-lesson web-based tutorial features video, audio, animation, and interactive exercises.  It was built with Photoshop and Authorware Attain and requires the use of the Macromedia Web Player browser plug-in.

End-User Software Training

Designed and developed for Information Advantage to train customers on their newest online analytical processing tool, Personal Viewers.  This 3-unit, 24-lesson web-based tutorial was built with HTML, JavaScript, Photoshop and Authorware Attain and requires the use of the Macromedia Web Player browser plug-in.  The tutorial is offered through Information Advantage's Online University.

End-User Software Training 

Designed and developed for Information Advantage to train users on their web-based online analytical processing application software, WebOLAP.  The 2-hour interactive multimedia web-based tutorial features text, graphics, animation, full simulation of the application software, and other interactive exercises.  The tutorial was developed with Photoshop and Toolbook II and requires the use of the Asymetrix Neuron browser plug-in.

End-User Application Software EPSS  

This EPSS was designed to work with Information Advantage's WebOLAP online analytical processing application software.  It is a menu-driven list of commonly performed tasks that stays on top of the user's desktop and can be run simultaneously with the WebOLAP application.  Clicking on a task title in the menu will launch a short, captioned movie of that task being performed.  The desktop EPSS was originally developed with Toolbook II and Lotus ScreenCam, but a web-based version using HTML and Camtasia was also created.

End-User Application Software CBT                

Designed and developed for Information Advantage to train users on their award- winning online analytical processing application software.  The large-scale, 5-hour interactive multimedia tutorial features text, graphics, full-motion video, audio, animation, full simulation of the application software, and other interactive exercises.  It includes an embedded EPSS.   The tutorial runs from a CD-ROM but also comes in a multi-user LAN version.  The program was developed using Toolbook II, Lotus ScreenCam, Photoshop, and Sony video capture and editing software.

My Online Learning Center

Designed as a quick and inexpensive solution for hosting online learning.  This easily customized portal template contains the most frequently requested features such as an encrypted security system, easy-to-use member management, individualized curriculum plans, classroom training schedule, online courses and assessments, streaming media and document libraries, discussion groups, online chat, personal notebook, e-commerce bookstore, and personal calendar of events.  The portal was created with HTML, Java, JavaScript, Photoshop, RealProducer and Camtasia.

First Service Networks Online Learning Center

Designed and developed for First Service Networks to provide just-in-time education and training for their employees, customers, and service contractors throughout the country.  The Online Learning Center features the training calendar and course descriptions, online enrollment, asynchronous courses, online assessments, document library, "Show Me" streaming movies, online chat, whiteboard, and file sharing capabilities.  The portal was created with HTML, JavaScript, Java, Photoshop, Camtasia, and NetMeeting.

BICSI Virtual Campus

Designed and developed for BICSI (a telecommunications association) to provide just-in-time education, training and information for their member companies throughout the world.  The learning portal features online enrollment, interactive courses, online assessments and other resources relevant to the telecommunications industry.  The portal was created with HTML, JavaScript, Photoshop, and GIF Animator.

Sterling University

Designed and developed for Sterling Software to provide just-in-time education, training and information for their customers throughout the world.  The learning portal features online enrollment, individualized curricula, asynchronous courses, progress tracking, a calendar of classroom sessions, online assessments, and a library of streaming videos.  The portal was created with HTML, JavaScript, Authorware Attain, Photoshop, and RealProducer, and requires the use of the Macromedia Web Player and RealNetworks G2 browser plug-ins.

EA Online Learning Center

Designed and developed for Supervalu to provide just-in-time business process education and application software training for their employees involved with the Phase 1 implementation of Supervalu's new supply chain suite.  The platform resides on the company intranet and features job-specific lessons, a task-specific EPSS, an FAQ section and a search engine.  It was created with HTML, JavaScript and Photoshop and requires no players or plug-ins.

Wico Hunkake (Ancestors) Our Story

This web site was created for my friends, Daryl and Sharon No Heart, who are Lakota artists.  Their mission is to share the rich cultural, spiritual, and historical traditions of the Lakota and Dakota people.  The site includes a gallery of their works, streaming videos of traditional ceremonial dances, a book store of recommended readings, a guest book, and e-commerce for their catalog of merchandise.  The web site was constructed with HTML, JavaScript, Photoshop and RealProducer.
